Breaking Bread had its last workshop funded by Tesco Charity Trust at Cathays Community Centre this week.
The workshop focused on collaborating with the Development Coordinator Amelia Thomas who engaged with locals in the community inviting them to our intergenerational Pizza making workshop. The lovely Glesni/Delia agreed to be our host and guided 11 younger and older local residents through a dynamic and eventful few hours of dough stretching, chats and laughs.
Afterward we all had some pizza and talked about the workshop and our participants gave us feedback and ideas. It was agreed to be a huge success and we certainly had our most diverse group to date, a massive thank you to the community centre and all the volunteers (Lindsey and Tasha) for helping with the arrangements. This was the final test workshop and will inform our plans to take the project to the next stages. Watch this space!
